Births Deaths and Marriages
Watercolour on 300gsm cotton rag paper, triptych
56 × 76 cm each panel (unframed)
Births Deaths and Marriages is a symbolic triptych in watercolour on deckled-edge paper (56 × 76 cm each panel). Drawing on mirrored forms, paired birds and Rorschach imagery, the work considers life's universal passages through themes of inheritance, partnership and loss. The works invite viewers to become active participants in the act of interpretation, revealing as much about perception as it does about the subjects depicted.
This series reflects an ongoing interest in the spaces between reality and perception, where representation becomes a vehicle for storytelling, symbolism and connection.

72 × 144 cm combined panel (each framed separately)
Thresholds of Beauty (72 × 144 cm, oil on birch panel, diptych) centers on a rescued greyhound observed through layers of reflection, pattern and memory. Moving between presence and absence, clarity and obscurity, the work questions conventional ideas of beauty and worth, while exploring the unseen histories carried by its subject.
